Electric Vehicle Charging 

Although the upfront cost of an electric vehicle (EV) is often higher, EVs can be cheaper to run, due to the lower cost of electricity compared to petrol or diesel. Recharging at home overnight will normally result in the greatest savings.

There are currently 300,000 registered electric vehicles in the UK, however there are currently only 29,000 publicly available charge points. Home charging is the most cost effective way of charging your vehicle, many energy suppliers offer 'off peak' tariffs and the government will even pay up to 75% of the installation cost.
